Production Calendar is a feature through which availability of all the Manufacturing cells and machines in a production year can be specified. This helps the system to effectively schedule the productions for the year.
Weekly Holiday Creation:
- Open Holiday Calendar
- Select Holiday Type as 'Weekly'
- Tick a day
- Select the date range as shown in the below screenshot
- Click on Save button
General/Public Holiday Creation:
- Open Holiday Calendar
- Select Holiday Type as 'General/Public'
- Select the holiday date range
Click on Save button
NOTE:
New Production Calendar:
- Double click on Production Calendar option under Manufacturing
- Production Calendar screen will be shown
- Click on New button
- Enter the Calendar Name
- Select the Production Line
- Select the Start and End Date of the Production Calendar
- Select the shifts
- Select the Machines
- Select 'Show holidays' check box, if you wish to view Holidays in the Production calendar
- Click on Build Calendar
- Click on Save
Update Production Calendar:
- Double click on Production Calendar option under Manufacturing
- Production Calendar screen will be shown
- Select and open any existing calendar
- Following attributes of a shift can be updated:
- Shift timings:
- Select the required Start and End Time (or)
- Enter the Shift Duration, based on the entered duration, shift end time will be automatically updated
- Machines allocated for a shift:
- Machines can be Allocated/Unallocated for a shift by Ticking the check box of the corresponding Machines displayed as horizontal columns
- Shift timings:
- Click on Save
Extend Production Calendar:
This feature is used to extend the already existing calendar for further more days with the same setup.
- Double click on Production Calendar option under Manufacturing
- Production Calendar screen will be shown
- Select and open any existing calendar
- Select the End Date
- Click on Build Calendar
- Click on Save
NOTE:
- Standard Production Calendar:
- There can be Only one Standard Production calendar for Production Line.
- Schedules can be created only for Standard Production Calendars
- Holiday Type:
- Only one Holiday Type can be selected at a time.
- Weekly Type specifies the repetitive non-working days of the week. E.g. Saturdays and Sundays.
- General Type specifies holidays other than the weekly off. E.g. Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day.
- Weekly Holidays: This frame is enabled only if Holiday Type is Weekly.
