Page History
On General Journal, there are instances that posting process will fail like:
- If total credit and debit is not equal
- If the selected year/period is missing/closed
- If there are inactive accounts used in the transaction
When this happens, Posting Detail screen will open.
The screen will show the reason on why it is not posted in the Description column.
post button is disable if:
- Post date is in closed Fiscal Period or closed Fiscal Year
- Out of Balance amount between Total Debit and Total Credit.
