- Open a Panel Settings record. In this sample, let us open the record from the Dashboard panel > Panel Options > Panel Settings button.
Click the Other Filter ellipsis button to open the Filter Setup screen.
Note You can also open the Filter Setup screen from the Company Common Info > User Preferences > Dashboard > Show Filters button.
Click New toolbar button. This will open the New Filter screen.
Enter your desired Filter Name then save the changes.
- On Filter Setup screen, enter the Filter Values. This value should be related to the field that you want to filter the record from.
- Save then close the Filter Setup screen.
- On Panel Settings screen, select the filter from the Other Filter combo box list.
- Select the Filter Variable, and the Filter Field.
- Declare the Filter Variable in the Query field.
- Save the changes, then close the screen. The panel on the Dashboard will be filtered based on the above setup.
