- Enter item description in the Description field.
- Select a category for this item in the Category field.
- If this item is a commodity, select a commodity this item is part of, else leave it blank.

Info When Lot Tracking is set to Yes-Serial Number, the system will automatically generate a new lot number when receiving, shipping, transferring or adjusting item/s. This lot number is generated based on Starting Number screen setup. You can open this screen from System Manager module > Starting Numbers menu > Inventory.
