How to Create GL Accounts for Fixed Asset

1. General Ledger > Set up > Segments Account "Should open Segment Account screen" screen

2. Select Segment Name

• Primary Account

3. Click Insert button

Add the following:

Code = 16001

Description = Asset Account

Account Group = Assets

Account Category = Fixed Assets

Code = 16002

Description = Accumulated Account

Account Group = Assets

Account Category =Accumulated Depreciation

Code = 20002

Description = Offset Account

Account Group = Liability

Account Category = General

Code = 40001

Description = G/L Account

Account Group =Revenue

Account Category =Fixed Asset Gain or Loss

Code = 50004

Description = FA Gain/Loss

Account Group = Expense

Account Category = Depreciation Expense
