Here's how to set up your account structure: 

  1. From General Ledger Maintenance menu menu, select Account Structure. The Account Structure screen will open.
  2. Click New Click New toolbar button to add primary and other segment. Also, configure its Length and Maskits Length and Mask.
  3. All segments you entered on the Structure the Structure tab will also be available in Legacy in Legacy tab. These are the segments that will be mapped in Legacy COA during in Legacy COA during synchronization process. Just be sure you enter Starting Position on Legacy for each segment.
  4. Click Save Click Save button to save the setup.
  5. In case that accounts are already created and change is made in the account structure, clicking the Savethe Save button will throw this message. Select Yes to Select Yes to update the existing accounts.
